Purified linseed oil with low acid content, free from suspended matter and mucilage, without siccative.
For initial priming of untreated wood. Pure linseed oil has a very high penetration depth of up to 10 mm due to the very slow drying process.
Drying time up to 2 weeks. Linseed oil fires the wood, the grain becomes more prominent.
Linseed oil is preferable to any artificially produced wood preservative and primer in interior areas.
It is 100% natural and has proven itself traditionally.
Linseed oil has a strong, typical odour at first, but this fades over the course of weeks.
100% pure, vegan linseed oil,
Solvent-free, no siccatives, not boiled
Suitable for children's toys in accordance with EN 71-3
resistant to saliva and perspiration according to DIN 53160
Application:
On wood as impregnation and primer in interior and protected exterior areas.
Apply several coats to untreated wood within 2 days until saturation is reached. Rub off excess oil and shiny areas with a clean cloth.
The penetration depth depends on the type of wood and degree of drying, up to 10 mm
Rule of thumb: litres/m² x 2 = penetration depth in mm
Drying time up to 2 weeks
Linseed oil hardens through an oxidative polymerisation process in which linoxin is formed.
Linoxin is water-repellent, open to diffusion and permanently elastic, but tends to yellow
CAUTION: Self-ignition possible with e.g. cleaning cloths - oil-soaked cloths etc. may only be stored in closed metal buckets or dried or burnt under supervision.
